Case study

BUM SWIM is a bikini brand whose identity—both as a brand and in its products—centers on celebrating the female figure, especially through the design of unique, exclusive patterns that highlight the glutes. When the brand approached us, they had a clear challenge: while their product was distinctive and strong, their brand image and creativity fell short. At the time, they only had a very simple logo and no other brand elements.
        Our task was to build on what was already there and develop a restyling or rebranding around those existing elements. We concluded that the icon they were using—the peach—was far too distinctive to remove, so we redrew it and gave it more character.
        We refreshed the color palette, moving away from pastels toward something more vibrant. At the same time, we extended the peach’s symbolism beyond just the logo. By giving new life to its bow (or leaves), we turned it into a compositional element within the photography, helping BUM evolve into a brand with stronger character and presence.
